The Bicycle Master Plan was created by Portland residents and City
of Portland Bicycle Program staff to keep Portland a
bicycle-friendly city.
The Plan includes an Executive Summary
and outlines the following topics:

RECREATIONAL AND GROUP RIDES
There are many opportunities to participate in group bicycle
rides for all levels of cycling experience.
The following groups have extensive ride schedules:
REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE CLASSES
Sooner or later, everyone gets a flat tire. Be prepared for this
and other such problems by learning some basic bicycle repair and
maintenance techniques.
BIKES AND TRIMET
You can now take your bike on TriMet buses and MAX without
needing a permit. Bicycle storage lockers are also available for rental at
many transit centers.
CENTRAL CITY COMMUTER SERVICES
Bike Central slots (secure
bicycle parking, showers, permanent clothes/locker space) for
